Resumen
Este artículo presenta un desarrollo teórico sobre el tránsito de la animalidad a lo humano, con el fin de emplazar este movimiento como constitutivo del artefacto dramático ligado a los procesos sociales y políticos. Para esto, en la primera sección se ahonda en las aportaciones de Kenneth Burke respecto a las acciones simbólicas. En la segunda, se discute la relación entre mímesis y acción humana; por último, en la tercera, se retoma el acontecimiento teatral, en cuyo proceso mimético particular opera un encuadre est/ético de los dramas sociales.
The Animal that Symbolizes. On Mimetic Processes in Theatrical Aesth/ethics
Abstract
This article presents a theoretical development regarding the transition from animality to the human, arguing that this is as constitutive part of the dramatic artifact linked to social and political processes. To this end, the first section delves into Kenneth Burke’s contributions regarding symbolic actions; the second discusses the relationship between mimesis and human action; and finally, third section returns to the theatrical event, in whose mimetic process an aesth/ethical framing of social dramas operates.
